Decopatch

After returning from the 'Big Stamp and Scrapbooking Show' at the Ally Pally (well worth a visit as long as you have secured a small mortgage with which to purchase "necessities" - ahem) a mere 10 days ago it's been craft madness round here!  We fell in love with a stand demonstrating and selling decopatch supplies.  Basically decopatch involves using a special glue, very much like old school pva, to stick small pieces of special, very pretty tissue paper to stuff.  Apparently any stuff will do - wood, metal, glass etc.  My first finished article was this J - which I'm unsure about in the flesh...

..but my next few attempts were better...

Beautiful little Russian doll tealight holders which I'm planning to sell on Saturday at a local craft fair to raise funds for more tissue paper :-)
